The Mitchell Family
I’ve known Brandy from the company where I interned and freelanced at for 2 years! And both of us decided that now is the perfect time to get some family portraits of herself, her husband Daway, their two children, (and family doggie Kwame,) done now that the leaves have finally started changing and falling. We met up at Belle Isle in Detroit, a tiny island in the middle of the Detroit River and right beside the Canadian boarder. The island has a greenhouse open to the public on it, and we spent most of our time inside and exploring the rest of the property surrounding it. I think one of the most exciting parts was us booking it across the island’s bridge for a couple last minute shots!
